Expanding access to India’s most sacred pilgrimage
Temple Connect, an initiative founded by Giresh Vasudev Kulkarni to connect temples globally, announced a collaboration with Trip To Temples, one of India’s pilgrimage organisers. The partnership aims to bring structure, trust, and accessibility to spiritual tourism by offering safe and professionally managed Kailash Mansarovar Yatra experiences.
The initiative seeks to redefine the modern pilgrimage journey by curating a more inclusive and sustainable approach for devotees undertaking the Yatra. It also aims to bridge the gap between faith and facilitation, bringing global visibility to Indian spirituality.
The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra resumed on June 30, 2025, after a five-year suspension. Trip To Temples currently operates multiple routes via Lucknow, Kathmandu, and Lhasa, designed to make the journey more convenient while helping devotees experience spiritual connection amid the Himalayas.
Temple Connect, founded in 2016, is a global platform that connects Hindu temples worldwide by documenting, digitalising, and distributing their devotional heritage. Operating across more than 50 countries and 52 locations, it empowers temple ecosystems, including management, priests, rituals, and devotees, by bringing cultural legacy into the digital era. Kulkarni said, “The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is not just a pilgrimage, it’s a journey of transcendental energy and spiritual awakening. Designed to be more authentic and soul-enriching, the Yatra ensures every devotee experiences it with trust and comfort, where every step brings them closer to inner peace and their connection with the Divine. Temple Connect is happy to join hands with Trip To Temples to turn a centuries-old spiritual pursuit into a seamless and fulfilling yatra, bringing together faith outreach and trusted execution.”
Trip To Temples, part of Divine Mantra Pvt. Ltd., is a leading organiser of pilgrimage tours across India and abroad. Guided by its motto “Har Safar Bharose Par”, the company focuses on transparent, safe, and spiritually fulfilling experiences for devotees through its extensive on-ground expertise. The organisation pioneered India’s first Kailash Aerial Darshan in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic and India–China border restrictions. This allows devotees to witness Mount Kailash and Lake Mansarovar from the air without international travel, permits, or visas, enabling those unable to undertake the trek due to age, health, or documentation challenges to experience the pilgrimage.
Vikash Mishra, CEO and Managing Director, Trip To Temples, said, “Our vision has always been to serve every devotee with compassion and transparency. Whether through the traditional yatra or the aerial darshan, our goal is to remove barriers and make the journey to Lord Shiva’s abode truly fulfilling. With Temple Connect’s robust spiritual network and operational expertise, we are ready to take the Kailash experience to new heights.”
The organisation provides all pilgrims with personalised support and amenities, including a Kailash miniature, numbered duffle bag, warm jackets, 24×7 emergency assistance, and professional guidance. Special packages are available for senior citizens and those with specific needs or budget constraints. All journeys align with Panchang-based auspicious dates, maintaining spiritual integrity and traditional timing.
Through this partnership, the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra aims to serve over 5,000 devotees over the next 12–18 months, offering well-structured, safe pilgrimage packages. The collaboration will also generate employment for local guides and support staff while promoting sustainable, transparent, and inclusive spiritual tourism.
