The Leela Palace New Delhi has introduced c, presenting an all-new dining concept at the restaurant for the first time. The format brings a Japanese social dining style to the property, offering an alfresco setting for winter evenings where guests may meet friends, spend time with colleagues, or enjoy sundowners.
Izakaya at Megu builds on Megu’s culinary identity and brings Japanese Izakaya culture to the fore, where shared plates, cocktails and conversation guide the experience. The menu features modern Japanese bar dishes suitable for individual diners and groups. Items include Steamed Silken Tofu with Ginger Pepper Soy, Crispy Vegetables with Miso Mustard, Slow-Cooked Lamb with Pepper Garlic Soy, Steamed Seabass with Ginger Pepper Soy and Baked Spicy Crab. Drinks include cocktails such as Shinrin Highball, Nihon Noir and Kansei, along with sake and Japanese whisky.
As evenings progress, the setting transitions with live DJ performances on weekends, accompanied by Japanese-inspired Asian beats that align with the restaurant’s alfresco layout. The design brings together contemporary Japanese elements with the understated style of The Leela Palace New Delhi.
