Quarter-century of operations and guest experiences

The Metropolitan Hotel & Spa marked its twenty-fifth anniversary with a celebration recognising the hotel’s journey in hospitality. The event reflected the evolution of The Metropolitan Hotel & Spa as a standalone independent hotel in India.

Guests attended an ‘Exotic Culinary Journey’ at the Garden of Joy, the poolside venue for the occasion. The evening included offerings from the hotel’s restaurants. Sakura served an authentic Japanese menu; Chutney, Bar + Tandoor, presented Indian dishes; and Zing, the multi-cuisine station, offered additional options. A special lounge by the poolside featured a selection of alcoholic beverages, cocktails, and mocktails created for the event. The Zing GourMET Shop provided a range of sweets and freshly baked confectionery. A live band performed during the evening.

The whole journey has been challenging but a satisfying one. On our 25th Year, we get conferred upon with prestigious International award of ‘Best Iconic Hotel’ in Asia, it says all that we’re on the right path. We would like to thank our guests, customers, associates, employees, stakeholders, etc. who have been associated with our brand for the past 25 years.”

The celebration included a ceremonial cake-cutting and a toast, marking the anniversary and the hotel’s continued journey in hospitality.
