The Ritz-Carlton, Pune, long regarded for its elegance and hospitality, elevated the art of wedding celebrations with its inaugural Wedding Showcase, a magnificent two-day event held in August 2025. This exclusive experience introduced the hotel’s Wedding Studio, a bespoke destination where weddings transcend planning to become fully imagined, artful creations.

The showcase brought together the creative mastery of Falguni Shane Peacock, internationally acclaimed couturiers known for their avant-garde bridal fashion, and Farah Khan, one of India’s most celebrated fine jewellery designers. Their collaboration presented a reimagined vision of the modern Indian wedding — one that draws upon regal traditions while embracing contemporary sophistication.

Guests were invited into an immersive world of wedding grandeur, with the event set against the majestic backdrop of The Ritz-Carlton, Pune. The centrepiece was Raj Mahal Bijoux by Falguni Shane Peacock, a couture collection inspired by the opulence of India’s royal past. Interpreting palace architecture, intricate frescoes, and timeless artistry, the collection introduced bridal silhouettes designed for the modern Maharani — dramatic, luxurious, and evocative.

Complementing the couture showcase was Farah Khan Fine Jewellery’s latest bridal collection, an exquisite series crafted in 18 KT gold and natural diamonds, accentuated by precious stones such as emeralds, rubies, tanzanites, amethysts, and pearls. These pieces — from statement chokers and necklaces to earrings and rings — were envisioned as heirlooms of emotion, capturing the essence of a bride’s journey with artistry and permanence.
