The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection has announced further details about its third superyacht, Luminara, set to launch in July 2025. Following successful sea trials, the vessel will begin its maiden voyage from Monte Carlo to Rome, with plans to explore new destinations in Asia and Alaska, marking first-time itineraries for the brand.
Luminara will offer up to 452 guests a refined experience with spacious suites, elegant interiors, and curated art collections. Designed by leading international firms, the yacht’s interiors combine warm woods, marble, and soft colour palettes to create a seamless indoor-outdoor aesthetic, with suites featuring private terraces and custom furnishings.
“With Luminara, we’ve raised the bar once again, uniting legendary service, elevated design, and an extraordinary onboard experience to further define our distinct approach to ultra-luxury travel at sea,” said Ernesto Fara, President of The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection. “This remarkable superyacht opens the door to new destinations and deeper guest experiences, reinforcing our commitment to thoughtful exploration and continuous innovation across the fleet.”
The ship’s art collection includes around 731 pieces, many commissioned exclusively for Luminara, with works from renowned artists such as Paul Klee, David Hockney, and Andy Warhol. A striking seven-storey light sculpture will be a focal point aboard the vessel.
Culinary offerings will feature five dining venues, including collaborations with Michelin-starred chefs Fabio Trabocchi and Michael Mina, serving Italian, Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, and pan-Asian cuisine. There will also be seven bars, with the new Art Bar showcasing contemporary art, creating an immersive atmosphere for guests.

Luminara’s amenities include a floating lounge platform with a pool and various water sports, a spacious spa with treatments inspired by Asia-Pacific destinations, and expanded retail areas showcasing brands like Cartier, IWC, and Piaget, along with exclusive jewellery, fashion pieces, and homeware.
The new vessel signifies the continued expansion of The Ritz-Carlton’s presence at sea, with plans to cruise the Indian Ocean, Asia-Pacific, and Alaska in the coming years, allowing guests to experience both well-known and undiscovered destinations.
