Thomas Cook India Named Exclusive Transport and Accommodation Partner For Asian Aquatics 2025

Thomas Cook (India) Limited has signed an agreement as the exclusive partner (Accommodation & Transport) for the Asian Aquatics Championships 2025. This Olympic-style, multi-sport event is organised by the Swimming Federation of India (SFI) and supported by the Sport Authority of Gujarat (SAG), marking India’s first-ever hosting of the Asian Aquatics Championships — a significant milestone for Indian sport.

Thomas Cook India’s MICE team will provide end-to-end management across key areas of accommodation, transport, logistics, airport arrivals and F&B coordination for a contingent of over 1,100, including more than 650 athletes, 60+ support staff and dignitaries from 29 Asian nationalities, competing in swimming, artistic swimming, diving and water polo at the Veer Savarkar Sports Complex, Ahmedabad.

To ensure a smooth, world-class experience, the Thomas Cook India MICE team has established a dedicated team of 40+ to manage operations across six hotel locations over 15 days.

• Airport Arrival & Departure Services
  Thomas Cook’s dedicated airport operations team will oversee the entire arrival and departure experience, providing 24/7 on-ground assistance at both international and domestic terminals in Ahmedabad. Exclusive parking bays for cars and coaches are arranged for immediate transfers, while SFI, SAG and Thomas Cook teams will be at the terminals to ensure smooth arrivals, efficient customs facilitation and seamless transport connections.

• Logistics Management
  To guarantee seamless mobility and on-time delivery, Thomas Cook India has deployed premium coaches and cars, with carefully pre-planned shuttle services. A 24/7 logistics control centre will ensure smooth coordination and on-ground efficiency throughout the event.

• Accommodation & F&B Management
  Thomas Cook India, in collaboration with leading hotel partners, has curated exceptional Indian and international culinary experiences for guests. The menu includes a range of vegetarian, vegan, halal, kosher and gluten-free options to cater to dietary preferences, complemented by Asian, Middle Eastern and continental cuisines to provide variety for participants and delegates.
