Jaipur will host the 14th edition of the Great Indian Travel Bazaar (GITB) from May 4–6, 2025. Organised by the Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan, the Central Ministry of Tourism, and FICCI, the event will bring together tourism professionals, tour operators, and stakeholders from around the world.
The event's opening will be at Hotel Anantara, with the main exhibition and B2B meetings taking place at Jaipur Exhibition & Convention Centre (JECC). Supporters include Rajasthan's Hotel and Restaurant Association, Indian Heritage Hotels Association, and Rajasthan Tour Operators.
A key feature is the “Meet in India” Conclave on May 4, aiming to promote India as a prominent MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) destination, with participation from 280 international tour operators and over 11,000 B2B meetings scheduled.
According to Dalip Singh Rathore, Joint Director, Department of Tourism, “GITB is more than a travel trade event — it is a platform for collaboration, dialogue, and future opportunities.” He added that 280 international tour operators from 55 countries will participate, and over 11,000 B2B meetings are scheduled.
Rathore also highlighted Rajasthan’s evolving identity in tourism, adding, “Rajasthan is no longer limited to its traditional attractions. Our goal is to develop the state into a multi-dimensional, experience-based destination, offering unique experiences tailored to different traveller interests.”
Rajasthan also leads in MICE tourism, housing 75 per cent of India’s heritage hotels, equipped with modern conference facilities, excellent connectivity, and trained multilingual guides.
Rajasthan is expanding its tourism appeal beyond traditional attractions like Jaipur, Udaipur, and Jodhpur, to include cities such as Ajmer, Pushkar, Jaisalmer, Bikaner, and Mount Abu, supported by robust infrastructure and a focus on experience-based tourism.
