Norwegian Cruise Line has announced upgrades to Norwegian Epic and Pride of America, just in time for the summer 2025 cruising season.
Norwegian Epic will undergo renovations beginning in May, including new outdoor features such as a hot tub on deck 18, a refreshed Kids' Aqua Park, and an expanded adults-only Vibe Beach Club with additional loungers and private cabanas. The ship will also gain eight new staterooms, enhancing onboard accommodation options.
Following the upgrades, Norwegian Epic will depart from Civitavecchia (Rome) from May 8, 2025, on Mediterranean and Greek Isles cruises ranging from nine to eleven nights. Ports include Santorini, Mykonos, Malta, Naples, Catania, and Florence. After her European season, she will reposition to San Juan, Puerto Rico, for weekly seven-day Caribbean cruises.
Additionally, Norwegian’s Pride of America will be updated with more Club Balcony Suites during scheduled renovations starting May 3, 2025. The ship offers year-round seven-day interisland voyages from Honolulu, exploring Hawaii’s islands.
David J Herrera, President of Norwegian Cruise Line, commented, "Delivering the best vacation experience for our guests, where they have the freedom and flexibility to do more of what they love is and will always continue to be our goal. By listening to guests' feedback, we are excited to provide them with MORE to do on board starting this summer as Norwegian Epic sets sail for Europe and Pride of America continues to offer the world's only seven-day interisland Hawaii voyages departing from Honolulu 52 weeks out of the year!"
