India has introduced its first homegrown liqueur — Quro, a bold new spirit that captures the country’s rich flavours, traditions, and craftsmanship. Made from 36 carefully chosen ingredients sourced from across India, Quro is now available exclusively in Goa, with plans to expand across the country and internationally.
Blending tradition with innovation, Quro features a complex yet approachable recipe. It combines fruits like orange, grapefruit, and amla, flowers such as hibiscus and moringa, and spices and herbs including cinnamon, ashwagandha, talispatra, and stone flower. Each ingredient adds a unique note — from citrus bursts to soft florals and a subtly bitter finish.
“Liqueurs are meant to be expressive, yet much of what currently exists in the market feels heavily influenced by the West,” shares Anmoll Alok Bansal, Founder of Inspired Spirits. “With Quro, our aim was to craft something truly original—rooted in India’s rich cultural and botanical diversity, and developed thoughtfully from the ground up.”
Produced through double pot distillation and maceration, Quro is smooth and easy to sip. With an ABV of 30 per cent, it offers a lighter, tastier alternative to standard spirits. Whether sipped neat, taken as a shot, or mixed into cocktails like the rising favourite Quro Qrisp, the drink is as versatile as it is flavourful.
Quro’s sleek, transparent bottle is a tribute to Indian artistry. A closer look reveals the word ‘Quro’ inscribed in multiple Indian scripts, celebrating the country’s linguistic and cultural diversity.
Breaking convention in every way — from its ingredients to its presentation — Quro aims to be more than just a drink. It’s a spirited expression of modern India, ready to make its mark at home and abroad.
