JOALI Maldives Introduces Experience-Led Valentine’s Programme on February 14, 2026

Valentine’s Day celebrations are increasingly moving away from material gifting towards shared experiences that prioritise connection and meaningful engagement. Couples are choosing immersive activities that let them spend time together and create lasting memories.

Reflecting this shift, JOALI Maldives has announced Love & All Its Colours, a curated Valentine’s Day programme scheduled for February 14, 2026. The programme is designed to allow couples to shape their own celebrations through a range of creative, movement-led and wellbeing-focused experiences, aligned with the island’s philosophy of Joy of Creative Living.

JOALI Maldives is located in Raa Atoll in the northern Maldives, approximately 150 kilometres north of Malé, the capital city. Accessible via a domestic flight from Velana International Airport, followed by a seaplane transfer, the island lies within the Indian Ocean archipelago, known for its coral reef systems and lagoon landscapes. Its geographic setting supports private, slow-paced stays, aligning with experience-led and personalised celebrations rather than fixed-format events.

Creative sessions form a central part of the programme, including a Painting Class where couples work together to create a heart-shaped keepsake, and Pottery for Two, which focuses on shared participation and collaboration. These activities are designed to produce tangible mementoes while encouraging interaction.

For couples who prefer movement-based experiences, the programme includes Beach Badminton, a Couples’ Padel Tournament, Tennis for Couples and Archery. These sessions introduce physical activity into the celebration, shifting the focus from passive indulgence to shared participation.

Wellbeing experiences include Partner Yoga and Aerial Yoga, offering opportunities for balance, trust and coordinated movement. The programme also features a Private Night Spa Indulgence, paired with a JOALI BEING Cure gift, positioning rest and recovery as part of the Valentine’s Day experience.

As evening approaches, couples can take part in Sundowner Champagne and Stargazing, featuring Ruinart Champagne alongside immersive beach-based art. Dining experiences are structured as bespoke moments, with options including Amore Mio, a five-course Valentine’s dinner at Bellinis, a lobster dinner at the Manta Tree House, or a Private Island BBQ Picnic at La Dolce Isola, a secluded island location.

Through Love & All Its Colours, JOALI Maldives reflects changing travel and celebration preferences, where couples prioritise shared moments, flexible programming and personal meaning over traditional Valentine’s Day conventions, within a destination-led setting.
