Fratelli Vineyards announced the release of a new vintage of its flagship label, SETTE, marking the wine’s 15th anniversary. The launch is accompanied by a limited-edition presentation created in collaboration with designer Manish Malhotra. The initiative brings together elements of fine winemaking and Indian luxury design, with the bottle positioned as a collector’s edition.

SETTE is considered one of Fratelli’s most prominent wines, recognised for its structure, depth, and ageing potential. The latest vintage has been produced using low-yielding vines, with grapes sourced exclusively from the estate’s oldest vineyard parcels, originally planted in 2007. According to the company, this release pays tribute to the inaugural 2009 vintage and represents one of the most mature fruit expressions under the label to date.

As part of the anniversary edition, Manish Malhotra has designed a bespoke presentation featuring a textured gold finish. The design draws inspiration from elements of Indian couture, emphasising detail and craftsmanship. The collaboration highlights shared themes of precision, time, and artistry associated with both winemaking and fashion.

This limited edition celebrates time, craftsmanship, and a shared vision of contemporary Indian luxury.”

The vintage is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Sangiovese, matured exclusively in French oak barrels. It presents notes of raspberry, violet, and blackcurrant, complemented by subtle hints of vanilla and spice. The wine is described as smooth and well-structured, with a balanced profile that combines intensity and elegance.

SETTE has established a reputation within the Indian premium wine segment for its depth, structure, and ageing potential. With this release, Fratelli Vineyards will replant the original vineyard, signalling a new phase for the estate. As the final bottling from the founding vineyard, this vintage marks a transition point, linking the brand’s origins with its future direction.
