IndiGo has entered into a strategic, multi-year agreement with ACL Airshop to provide comprehensive ULD management and logistics services across the airline’s cargo and passenger operations. This partnership marks ACL Airshop’s formal entry into the Indian market and aims to support IndiGo’s ongoing domestic and international growth.
Under the agreement, ACL Airshop will supply and oversee IndiGo’s ULD fleet, including responsibilities for future operational requirements. The scope also encompasses maintenance and repair of ULDs, access to ACL Airshop’s global network and short-term leasing pool, as well as deployment of next-generation tracking technology across IndiGo’s fleet.
“We are very pleased to announce this strategic partnership with one of the world’s fastest-growing airlines,” said Bernhard Kindelbacher, CEO of ACL Airshop. “This collaboration not only reinforces our position as a global ULD management services leader but also allows us to support IndiGo wherever their growth journey takes them.”
Mark Sutch, Chief Commercial Officer – Cargo at IndiGo, added, “As our requirement for ULDs grows, we are delighted to be partnering with ACL Airshop and appreciate that they could quickly and efficiently respond to IndiGo’s requirements and were fully operational in a short span of just two months.”
By combining IndiGo’s scale with ACL Airshop’s international expertise, the collaboration is set to improve operational efficiency, fleet reliability, and technological capabilities across IndiGo’s cargo and passenger services.
