ixigo Launches Airport Cabs Across Major Indian Airports

ixigo has launched Airport Cabs, a new offering designed to provide travellers with dependable and affordable transportation to and from major airports across India. The service emphasises timely pickups and eliminates last-minute cancellations, aiming to make airport transfers smoother and more convenient for passengers nationwide.

Users can book a ride through the ixigo app or website by selecting the “Airport Cabs” option on the homepage, entering trip details such as pickup and drop-off locations, date and time, choosing their preferred cab, applying available coupons, and completing the payment. As part of the launch offer, first-time cab users can get a flat 50 per cent discount up to Rs 200, while repeat customers can avail a flat 20 per cent discount up to INR 100. The service is available across all major airports in India, with bookings open up to 90 days in advance.

Travellers can also choose from a range of cab types, including hatchbacks, sedans, SUVs/MPVs, luxury vehicles, and eco-friendly options such as electric and CNG cars. Airport entry charges, tolls, state taxes, and driver allowance are all included in the fare, with dynamic pricing based on the city, date, and time of travel. Free cancellation is allowed up to 30 minutes before the scheduled pickup time, and the fares include 30 minutes of free waiting time. ixigo also offers a 24x7 SOS support feature to assist with breakdowns, accidents, or emergencies.
