Indian travellers heading to Dubai will now find it easier than ever to explore the city’s most iconic landmarks. Emaar Entertainment, the operator of some of Dubai’s biggest attractions, has partnered with MakeMyTrip to give travellers direct access to experiences such as Burj Khalifa, Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo, KidZania, and Sky Views Observatory through the platform’s newly launched Tours & Attractions section.
Commenting on the partnership, Jasmeet Singh, Chief Commercial Officer – Holidays & Experiences, MakeMyTrip, said: “With our Tours & Attractions platform, we set out to make discovering and booking great experiences as seamless as booking a flight or hotel. Partnering with Emaar Entertainment brings some of the world’s most iconic attractions and skylines within effortless reach for Indian travellers. We will continue to expand our offerings, adding more world-class experiences that inspire travellers to see and do more, wherever they go.”
The integration allows Indian users to discover and book these celebrated attractions directly in Indian Rupees, bringing unmatched convenience to one of the most popular international travel routes from India.
Rising Demand for Burj Khalifa
The Burj Khalifa remains one of the most visited landmarks in the world, drawing nearly 1.7 crore international guests in the last year alone. Out of this, close to 22 lakh visitors came from India, underscoring the country’s importance in Dubai tourism. More than 80 per cent of holiday packages sold on MakeMyTrip already include a Burj Khalifa visit, making it a natural fit for this collaboration.
Seamless Access to Experiences
The partnership builds on MakeMyTrip’s growing Tours & Attractions platform, which connects travellers to over 200,000 activities across 1,100 cities worldwide. The addition of Emaar’s portfolio ensures that Indian travellers can plan, book and pay for Dubai’s most sought-after experiences all in one place, without the hassle of currency conversion.
A Milestone Moment
Earlier this year, the Burj Khalifa lit up with a projection marking MakeMyTrip’s 25th anniversary, celebrating its journey of enabling millions of Indians to travel across the globe. With this new collaboration, the platform takes another step towards making international travel simpler, more accessible and tailored for Indian holidaymakers.
From sky-high observatories to family-friendly attractions, the partnership ensures Dubai’s finest experiences are now just a click away for Indian travellers.
