In a move to enhance passenger convenience, Noida International Airport (NIA) has announced a strategic partnership with Rapido, India’s leading ridesharing platform. The alliance aims to deliver efficient, tech-driven last-mile mobility solutions directly from the airport, setting the stage for seamless connections between air travel and ground transportation.
As part of the partnership, Rapido will introduce dedicated pick-up zones within the airport, complemented by on-ground support teams and marked way-finding guides. These efforts are designed to help travellers easily navigate from arrival gates to their Rapido rides, ensuring a hassle-free exit experience.
To reduce waiting times and ensure smoother transitions, designated parking spaces for Rapido driver-partners have been allocated, further streamlining pick-ups and improving estimated arrival times.
Christoph Schnellmann, CEO, Noida International Airport, said, “As we gear up to welcome passengers, ensuring a smooth and stress-free journey beyond the terminal is essential to the overall travel experience we’re building at Noida International Airport. Our partnership with Rapido is another step in this direction—enabling us to offer reliable, app-based mobility options that are accessible to all. Passengers will benefit from convenient, tech-enabled last-mile services that are well integrated into the airport ecosystem.”
Passengers opting for Rapido at NIA can expect a host of user-friendly features, including:
- Real-time ride tracking and accurate ETAs via the Rapido app
- Cashless payments for ease and transparency
- Driver and vehicle details, along with an in-app SOS button for added safety
- Multiple ride categories to suit varying needs
- 24/7 service availability for round-the-clock travel convenience
Beyond airport travel, Rapido continues to serve as a flexible mobility partner, offering services such as bike taxis, auto rides, and expanding into urban deliveries. With platforms like Rapido Parcel and its food delivery service, the company provides affordable, transparent pricing and flat fees—benefiting small businesses and daily users alike.
This partnership aligns with NIA’s mission to evolve into a multimodal transport hub, offering passengers diverse and dependable connectivity options. From app-based cabs to private vehicles and public transport, NIA is actively working with partners and government bodies to improve road access, transit integration, and mobility infrastructure.
Rajiv Bhyri AVP, Cabs at Rapido, said, “We are pleased to partner with Noida International Airport to introduce Rapido’s Airport Cab Services designed to offer passengers a seamless, tech-enabled transit experience right from the terminal. With dedicated pick-up zones, real-time tracking, cashless payments, and 24/7 availability, our platform ensures that travellers have access to dependable and efficient last-mile connectivity. Our SaaS-based model also enables more competitive fares for passengers while supporting better earnings for our driver-partners, striking the right balance between affordability and sustainability.”
With the airport poised to become a key aviation gateway, this collaboration ensures every journey to and from NIA is smooth, safe, and future-ready.
