Seasonal Travel Push for Jordan’s Capital
Royal Jordanian Airlines is promoting Amman, Jordan's capital, as a late-winter and pre-monsoon destination for Indian travellers. The airline cited seasonal weather, cultural attractions and connectivity as key factors.
During late winter and early spring, Amman records mild daytime temperatures and cooler evenings. Visitors can explore sites such as the Citadel and the Roman Theatre, as well as markets, cafés and contemporary galleries.
Royal Jordanian Airlines, Jordan's national carrier, offers connections from India to Amman via international hubs. The airline said this allows passengers to access Jordan through its global network.
“Indian travellers are increasingly looking for destinations that offer culture, history, and comfort without long travel fatigue,” said Karim Makhlouf, Chief Commercial Officer for Royal Jordanian Airlines. “Amman is perfectly positioned as a late winter and pre-monsoon escape, and Royal Jordanian is proud to connect Indian travellers to the heart of Jordan with world-class service.”
From Amman, travellers can also visit other destinations in Jordan, including Petra, the Dead Sea and Wadi Rum, located within driving distance of the capital.
The airline said visa policies, local hospitality and cuisine familiar to Indian travellers are supporting Jordan’s growth as a leisure destination.
