Saudi Tourism Authority (STA), through its consumer brand ‘Saudi, Welcome to Arabia’, has announced ‘Spectacular Saudi’, a three-day, five-city showcase planned from November 21 to November 23. The activation aims to present Saudi’s cultural, culinary and entertainment offerings directly to travellers in India.
The event will take place simultaneously in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad. According to STA, this is one of its most extensive destination engagements in India and reflects its continued focus on a market that has shown sustained growth.
During the three-day programme, each host city will offer a series of cultural and hospitality-led experiences. Visitors will be able to explore Brewtopia: A Qahwa Experience, featuring Saudi coffee and the fragrance of bakhour. The Epicurean-Culinary Corner will present Saudi food traditions and interpretations that highlight the country’s evolving culinary landscape.
Information about Qiddiya City, described as the world’s first purpose-built destination centred on the Power of Play, will also be available at the event. The site is planned to feature the largest Six Flags Park in the world, Saudi’s first and biggest water park, and other entertainment facilities.
Travellers interested in planning a trip to Saudi can access support through Tasheer kiosks at each venue. These kiosks will provide information related to visa requirements and travel planning. Visitors are advised to carry passports if they intend to explore visa-related queries and to review the document checklist on Tasheer’s official website.
The event will also offer limited-time rewards. Visitors will have the opportunity to win a four-night trip to Riyadh, including accommodation, airport transfers and a city tour. Additional offers include complimentary nights on selected bookings, discount vouchers worth more than ₹75 lakh for flights, hotels and travel packages to Saudi, as well as couple bonuses and additional inclusions. Complimentary Six Flags tickets are available with selected Riyadh packages for 2026, along with couple passes to the MDL Beast Soundstorm Music Festival in Riyadh.
Visitors will also have access to Visa processing support, Discounts on tours and packages, Special fares from Saudia, Complimentary stays, Cash discounts on bookings and Gifts and giveaways.
These offers follow a period of active engagement by STA in India. September saw a three-city roadshow in Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Delhi, followed by the ‘Saudi Sporting Arena’ activation held in Delhi earlier in November.
The current showcase aligns with STA’s broader promotional momentum, including the global campaign “I Came for Football, I Stayed for More”, featuring Cristiano Ronaldo. The campaign highlighted Saudi’s events calendar and its increasing profile in global sport and entertainment.
With Riyadh Season taking place from October 2025 to March 2026, the timing of ‘Spectacular Saudi’ gives Indian travellers access to a schedule of concerts, sporting events, cultural showcases and other activities.
Saudi’s tourism sector continues to expand through investment, infrastructure development and a growing line-up of international events. For travellers in India, the five-city showcase provides direct access to information about Saudi’s tourism plans, heritage and visitor experiences.
STA states that the initiative invites India to observe and engage with Saudi’s direction as it continues its tourism development strategy.
