The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and IndiGo have signed a year-long strategic agreement to promote Singapore as a premier destination for Indian travellers. This marks a significant step towards fostering sustained tourism growth and adopting a more targeted, insight-driven approach to engaging Indian markets.

India remains among Singapore’s top three source markets, with visitor numbers remaining strong in 2024. In the first half of 2025, Indian arrivals surpassed 500,000, underpinned by excellent air connectivity. Over 270 weekly flights link Singapore to 15 Indian cities via Changi Airport – Southeast Asia’s most connected hub – offering Indian travellers seamless access to the city-state. IndiGo continues to enhance connectivity, with Singapore consistently ranking among its top three international destinations. Celebrating 60 years of India-Singapore diplomatic relations, IndiGo will introduce its customised business class product, IndiGoStretch, on flights between Singapore and Delhi & Mumbai from August 9, 2025, coinciding with Singapore’s National Day. With flights from nine destinations and comprehensive network connections, IndiGo is well-placed to meet increasing demand on these routes.

Singapore remains a dynamic destination, evolving to reflect modern ways in which travellers explore the city-state. Following the success of the “Untold Singapore” campaign earlier this year—a collaborative effort between STB and IndiGo—this new partnership aims to further highlight Singapore’s hidden gems and broaden its appeal across India.

Over the course of the year, the campaign will showcase Singapore’s diverse attractions, blending famous landmarks with lesser-known sites. It will feature enticing travel deals, engaging co-branded content, influencer collaborations, and creative formats designed to elevate the pre-travel experience. The partnership extends beyond consumer campaigns to include trade initiatives such as roadshows across India, trade training programmes, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) advantages, and curated familiarisation trips. By sharing data insights and analytics, both organisations will tailor marketing efforts to resonate with Indian travellers’ preferences and aspirations.

“As we celebrate 60 years of India-Singapore diplomatic relations in 2025, our expanded collaboration with IndiGo and the launch of the year-long 'Untold Singapore' campaign positions us to harness the potential of India’s dynamic travel market. By leveraging IndiGo's extensive network and Singapore’s diverse offerings, we are poised to capture the growing demand for unique and meaningful travel experiences among Indian visitors. This partnership will inspire both first-time and returning Indian visitors, further strengthening the enduring tourism ties between our nations.” commented Melissa Ow, Chief Executive Officer, Singapore Tourism Board.

Pieter Elbers, Chief Executive Officer, IndiGo, said, “Given the strong cultural, commercial, and strategic ties between India and Singapore, there is great demand for existing connectivity between the two countries and potential for more. We are delighted to partner with Singapore Tourism Board to boost tourism and travel between the two countries. With flights from 9 destinations and seamless connections across our network, we are well positioned to cater to growing demand on these routes. With our recent introduction of IndiGoStretch, tailor made business class product to Singapore, we are even more confident that our customers will enjoy the premium travel experience to this vibrant destination.”
