In a dedicated effort to restore confidence in travel amid ongoing global uncertainties, Thomas Cook (India) Limited, India’s leading omnichannel travel services provider, along with its group company SOTC Travel, has launched ‘TravSure’. This pioneering initiative is the first of its kind in the industry, reaffirming Thomas Cook and SOTC’s commitment to putting customers first – ensuring a stress-free journey with comprehensive support and financial security.

Emergencies can cause major disruptions to travel plans, leading to cancellations, extra charges, and rescheduling hassles. Recognising these challenges, TravSure has been purposefully designed to offer 24/7 assistance through dedicated representatives. Importantly, the programme also shields travellers from financial burdens caused by unforeseen circumstances.

While traditional travel insurance policies often exclude war, war-like situations, and force majeure events, TravSure stands out as an industry-first solution. It is specifically tailored to cover such scenarios, providing essential financial protection for our international group tour customers.

TravSure offers protection against travel emergencies, including flight cancellations, trip cut short due to war or political unrest, riots, airspace closures, and more. It aims to give travellers the confidence to explore, knowing they are safeguarded at all stages of their journey.

  • Free Rescheduling & Refunds: For unutilised services in case of emergencies
  • Applicable Across: All international group holiday packages by Thomas Cook India and SOTC Travel
  • Additional Trip Protection:
    • Covers costs of flight rescheduling due to war or war-like disruptions – for flights booked with Thomas Cook India or SOTC Travel
    • Includes hotel stays at destinations or during transit due to unforeseen emergencies
    • Up to USD 1500 per person in coverage for airline and land expenses on international group tours
  • 24/7 Customer Support:
    • Dedicated support team providing immediate assistance for emergencies, modifications, or queries
