Uttar Pradesh Tourism will unveil a vibrant pavilion at the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS) 2025, set for 25 to 29 September at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida. The pavilion is designed to highlight the state’s cultural wealth and tourism potential while also showcasing opportunities for global investment.
The immersive pavilion will reflect the spirit of Uttar Pradesh through a mix of tradition and innovation. Visitors will experience digital storytelling, AR and VR-based displays, auto-navigation kiosks, and selfie zones with iconic backdrops. A cultural calendar will add colour to the showcase, featuring Mayur Nritya from Braj, Bundeli Nritya from Jhansi, tribal dances from Sonbhadra and Lakhimpur, and the classical Kathak of the Lucknow gharana.
Travellers can also explore curated itineraries across spiritual, Buddhist, rural, and wellness circuits, with the UP Tourism Mobile App offering easy QR-code downloads. Dedicated sections will focus on temple architecture, ODOP crafts, and rural tourism innovations. Investors, meanwhile, will find opportunities in heritage assets available for public-private partnerships, supported by incentives including capital subsidies, land allotments, tax exemptions, and single-window clearances.
“Tourism is at the heart of our vision for Viksit Bharat @2047. At UPITS, we will not only celebrate the unmatched cultural and spiritual wealth of Uttar Pradesh but also demonstrate how the state is opening new gateways for global investors and entrepreneurs in tourism. From Buddhist circuits to heritage monetization, Uttar Pradesh is positioning itself as the meeting point of tradition and opportunity,” said Jaiveer Singh, Minister of Tourism and Culture, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
The pavilion will also be a hub for collaboration, offering lounges, B2B interaction areas, and media kits. It aims to spark dialogue between policymakers, corporates, and global delegations while underlining the state’s commitment to sustainability in tourism.
UPITS 2025 is expected to attract wide participation from across India and abroad, providing Uttar Pradesh with a timely platform to project both its living heritage and future-ready tourism ecosystem. Running from 25 to 29 September, the pavilion will invite visitors, investors, and international partners to experience how Uttar Pradesh is aligning its cultural legacy with new growth opportunities.
“Our participation at UPITS 2025 is designed to create a pavilion that is not just an exhibition but a holistic experience. By combining cultural showcases with policy-driven investor engagement, we will project Uttar Pradesh as a globally competitive tourism destination. We aim to build connections that strengthen tourism, create livelihoods, and position the state as a leader in heritage monetisation and sustainable travel,” said Mukesh Kumar Meshram, Principal Secretary, Department of Tourism, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
