Construction Progress and New Openings at Wynn Al Marjan Island

Wynn Resorts, Limited announced further construction progress on Wynn Al Marjan Island, which will be the first integrated resort to open in the United Arab Emirates. The 305-metre tower is nearing its full height, with topping-out expected in late November 2025 ahead of a planned spring 2027 opening. The structure has now reached the seventieth floor, and work on the roof deck is in progress.

According to the update, exterior work continues to advance, with 19,206 of the 26,247 façade panels installed, representing 73 per cent completion. Across the resort’s low-rise buildings, combined concrete and steel works are now ninety-seven per cent complete, while exterior façades, interior fit-out and the installation of elevators and escalators are underway.

Wynn Al Marjan Island will feature 1,530 rooms, suites, townhouses and Marina Estates. Structural work is now complete for 1,526 of these accommodations, representing 99.7 per cent progress. Interior fit-out has commenced in 1,504 rooms, approximately ninety-eight per cent of the total, with mechanical, electrical and finishing work ongoing across the property.

The resort recently introduced Coral Court, an Events and Celebrations Centre designed for weddings, galas and international gatherings. The 7,700-square-metre venue includes a column-free Grand Ballroom, six meeting rooms, private salons for bride and groom, prayer rooms and an event lawn overlooking the Arabian ocean. The design approach uses natural light and a restrained palette.

In addition, the project unveiled the first details of its dining and events portfolio, including an elegant French-American steakhouse by Alain Ducasse and Delilah, the supper club from Wynn Las Vegas and The h.wood Group. The venues will reflect the design direction of Wynn Design and Development, led by President and Chief Creative Officer Todd-Avery Lenahan, focusing on combining design with entertainment.

Set across more than sixty hectares, Wynn Al Marjan Island will feature 1,217 resort rooms and 297 Enclave suites, as well as two Royal Apartments, four Garden Townhomes and ten Marina Estates. Guests will have access to twenty-two restaurants, lounges and bars, a beach club, a spa and beauty destination, and a skylit shopping parterre featuring international luxury brands.

The property will also include Coral Court, a theatre named The Showroom, twelve swimming pools, a 420-metre white-sand beach and a deep-water marina designed for superyachts.
