Vietnam Airlines Launches Nonstop Flights from Hyderabad to Hanoi

Vietnam Airlines has introduced direct flights between Hyderabad and Hanoi, marking its fourth Indian gateway alongside Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. The service commenced on May 7, 2025, operating thrice weekly on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

A ceremony at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport celebrated the inaugural flight, featuring traditional welcomes and souvenir gifts for passengers. Industry stakeholders gathered at a lunchtime event organised by the airline to foster partnerships and collaboration.

Speaking at the launch event, Nguyen Trung Hieu, Country Manager – India, Vietnam Airlines, said, “India continues to be a key growth region for Vietnam Airlines, and we are excited to commence direct flights from Hyderabad—one of India’s most vibrant and fastest-growing cities. Known for its rich cultural heritage, thriving tech ecosystem, and cosmopolitan spirit, Hyderabad serves as an important gateway to southern India. Following our growing presence in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru, this launch further reinforces our network expansion across the country and strengthens our commitment to enhancing connectivity between Vietnam and India. Vietnam Airlines, a member of SkyTeam, continues to expand its presence in India, supporting bilateral tourism and cultural exchange. The service aims to facilitate travel between the regions, offering passengers reliable service and comfort.
