Minister pointed out that while the e-visa scheme has been implemented for over 170 countries, the visa-on-arrival option is currently limited to just four nations and is only available at six major airports

The Deputy CM and Tourism Minister Diya Kumari announced this initiative, along with the state's active exploration of a Responsible Tourism Policy, mirroring its existing Tourism Policy, Tourism Unit Policy, and Film Policy.

Since its inception in 2022, the project’s two main aims have been to establish women-friendly tourism centres and to create a network of women-owned enterprises within the tourism sector, the Minister explained
